  • 11. How long does Vantechra keep my hosting data if I miss a payment?

    At Vantechra, we understand that sometimes payments can be delayed — so we make sure you have enough time to recover your data safely.
    Here’s how it works:
    1️⃣ Grace Period (7 Days): If a payment is missed, your hosting account will be temporarily suspended after 7 days. During this time, your data and emails remain stored, but your website and email access may be paused.
    2️⃣ Retention Period (30 Days): If payment is not received within 30 days from the due date, your hosting account and related data (including backups and emails) may be permanently deleted from our systems.
    3️⃣ Final Deletion: Once deleted, the data cannot be recovered. We strongly recommend downloading or requesting a backup before the end of the 30-day period if you plan to move or cancel your hosting.
    4️⃣ Compliance: All data handling follows POPIA (South Africa) and GDPR (Europe) requirements — meaning we only keep your data for as long as necessary for legal, contractual, or operational reasons.
